Flashback Books, est. 1985, is a mail-order bookselling operation, specializing in rare, scarce and out-of-print books, periodicals and related printed materials on the history, literature and science of psychoactive drugs. Categories include sacred plants and synthetic drugs, fiction and poetry, subcultures and lifestyles, art, erotica, underground newspapers and magazines, rock 'n roll and spoken word records, posters, flyers and ephemera.
Catalogs are issued on an occasional basis at the price of $10 postpaid. Previous customers will receive catalogs automatically at no cost. New catalogs will be announced on this site. Copies of our current catalog (#16, pictured at bottom right) are still available.
